This Privacy Policy explains how Yisrael Gottlieb, a sole proprietor doing business as Parse by Claimoe ("Claimoe," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information in connection with the Parse by Claimoe service (the "Service") — software that helps collision-repair shops audit repair estimates. It is effective as of June 10, 2026.
The Service is offered to businesses (collision-repair shops). We act in two different roles, and your rights depend on which data is involved:
- As a business (controller)for the shop’s own account, contact, and billing information — data we collect to run our business and provide the Service to you.
- As a service provider (processor)for the estimate data a shop uploads. Those estimates contain personal information about third parties (the vehicle owner / insurance claimant). The shop is the business/controller of that data; we process it only on the shop’s behalf and on its instructions to provide the Service.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account & contact information — your name, work email address, shop/business name, email domain, and role (owner or team member). Your password is set and stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see or store it in plain text.
- Billing information — your plan, usage counts, and identifiers from our payment processor (Stripe customer and subscription IDs). Card numbers and payment-card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we never receive or store full payment-card numbers.
- Technical & usage information — your IP address and browser user-agent (used for sign-in, security, abuse prevention, and rate-limiting), authentication/session cookies, and operational metadata about each parse (file name, document type, timing, and the cost and token counts of automated processing). This operational metadata does not include the contents of your uploaded documents.
- Estimate data you upload (processed on your behalf) — the repair-estimate files you submit and the information extracted from them. These may contain personal information about the vehicle owner or insurance claimant, such as name, vehicle identification number (VIN), claim number, insurer and adjuster contact details, date of loss, vehicle details, and line items. We process this data as your service provider, to provide the audit and your parse history.
- Communications & feedback — messages you send us, support requests, and any feedback you submit (including notes you write when flagging an audit result), together with the related estimate.
Sources of personal information
We collect personal information: (a) directly from you, when you create an account, upload estimates, subscribe, or contact us; (b) automatically, through your use of the Service (e.g., IP address, cookies, usage metadata); and (c) from our payment processor, which tells us your subscription and payment status.
How and why we use personal information
We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service — including parsing and auditing the estimates you upload and storing your parse history.
- To authenticate users, secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce rate limits and our Terms.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send transactional messages (verification codes, invites, receipts, and service notices).
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests and feedback.
- To maintain, debug, and improve the Service and our audit rules.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do notsell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking technologies, and we do not serve targeted ads.
Automated and AI processing
To extract and audit the data in an estimate, we send the document’s text and, when a document has no readable text layer, images of its pages to our AI subprocessor, Anthropic, via the Claude API. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, Anthropic does notuse this data to train its models and automatically deletes API inputs and outputs from its systems within 30 days (subject to limited exceptions, such as legal requirements). See Anthropic’s API data-handling documentation.
Automated audit results may contain errors or omissions. They are informational only and are not a substitute for professional review — see our Terms of Service.
How we disclose personal information
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only as follows:
- Service providers / subprocessors. We use vetted vendors that process personal information on our behalf, under contracts that restrict their use of the data to providing services to us. They are:
- Anthropic — AI extraction and audit of estimate text/images (Claude API).
- Supabase — database, user authentication, and storage of uploaded files.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Resend — transactional and notification email (verification codes, team invites, and operational notices, which may include an attached estimate sent to our staff).
- Vercel — application hosting and serverless compute.
- Upstash / Vercel KV — IP-based rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Legal, safety, and compliance. We may disclose information to comply with law, legal process, or government requests, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Claimoe, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
- At your direction or with consent. We will otherwise disclose information when you instruct us to or consent.
Data retention and deletion
- Account & billing data — retained for as long as your account is active and afterward as needed to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes.
- Uploaded estimates, extracted data, audit results, and original files— retained for the life of your account so you can access your parse history, and deleted when you ask us to delete them (see “Your privacy rights”) or when your account is closed. Our AI subprocessor automatically deletes the copies it processes within 30 days.
- Operational logs and parse metadata — retained for a limited period for security, debugging, and billing.
On a verified deletion request, we delete the personal information from our active systems and instruct our subprocessors to delete it from theirs, except where retention is required by law or is not technically feasible (in which case we will isolate and protect the data). To request deletion, contact legal@claimoe.ai.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information: the right to know/access the personal information we hold and how we use it; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to delete your information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising and do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics, the opt-out and limitation rights generally do not apply to our processing.
To exercise your rights, email legal@claimoe.ai. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
Estimate / claimant data.Where the personal information is contained in estimates a shop uploaded, the shop is the controller of that data and we act as its service provider. If you are a vehicle owner or claimant and want to access or delete data in an estimate, please contact the repair shop that uploaded it; we will support the shop’s verified instructions, including deletion, and pass them to our subprocessors.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, per-account data isolation, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where data is processed
Claimoe is based in the United States, and we and our subprocessors store and process personal information in the United States.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and, where appropriate, ask you to review and accept the updated Policy.
